My name is Jennifer Rodriguez. I am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (official credential) and all-around QuickBooks Rockstar (unofficial credential). I’ve spent the past five years saving small business owners from their QuickBooks messes, training them to become better bookkeepers, and helping them setup and utilize systems and shortcuts to minimize data entry and administrative tasks.
Most of my work is one-on-one consulting, which I enjoy doing, but it limits the number of people I can help. There are only so many hours in the day and some of them need to be spent on sleeping, eating, and a few other minor pursuits.
So my solution was to start this blog. I wanted to share my expertise with as many people as possible and support small business owners in their quest to become better bookkeepers.
My goal is to arm you with practical, technical instructions on how to operate QuickBooks. But I also want to inspire and empower you to seize control of your finances and establish a strong bookkeeping system that supports your business. I want to help you evolve from being a passive data entry clerk into being a powerful Chief Financial Officer for your small business.
But this transformation is a joint effort. We’re going to have to work together to make it happen. I’ll supply the advice and information if you’ll supply the passion and drive.
